This position will provide application support and maintenance for a business-critical application, by maintaining backups, supporting the continuous operation of the business applications, and other related tasks. Interpersonal skills are extremely important as the point of contact for the IT department, but technical skill cannot be lacking when taking helpdesk calls to provide first level support.
The specialist must be willing to work 7:30 to 4:30, and must have management experience. Five years’ experience supporting and maintaining IBM technology running wholesaler software built on DB2 is also required.
